So look. I'm not fat but I'm not not fat. 5'6" 170 or so. A bit overweight but not whew I'm self conscious about it. But here's the thing:I used to be in pretty good shape. Like a decade ago.
So heres the subtle, ease into fitness plan: ima crush an ironman.
Now I wanted to do one this year but my friends reminded me that I don't own a bike and ive never open water swum. Swam? Swimmed? I think it's swum...
Either way. I'm 4 months out from a half ironman, and 15 from Ironman Louisville. And I don't wanna squeak under the wire at 11:55, I wanna crush it. Im looking at sub 13 hours.
Now sure 15 months is plenty of time to train for an iron man. Heres my issue: I like beer. So I'm gonna drink my way to a badass ironman finish....or an early grave.
But either way, itll be a fun time and ill feel like shit in the morning!!
